Everything about the house was perfect except for the kitchen. With the help of Sarah Moug’s father, the double stacked kitchen units were ripped out and two layers of old tiles replaced with a neutral clean paint colour. An extra window was fitted to balance the look and bring in more light. The next task was the snug, which adjoins the kitchen. The room was always too cold for the family to use. The answer came in the form of a beautiful Vermont wood burner.
