A designer’s house in the Shepherds Bush section of London

It is the citron-yellow porch that offers the first indication that this modest terraced house may not be all that it seems. A glimpse inside, where punchy geometric wallpaper – also citron-yellow – forms a backdrop to two striking Chinese paintings, confirms this first impression. White-painted floorboards and simple plantation shutters combine with startling flashes of inspiration and expanses pattern and texture.
