Portait photographer Julian Anderson has decorated his cottage with the restful tones of pebbles washed up on the beach where he lives with his sons Noah and Archie and their cat Harris. The Grade-II listed terraced cottage which was built in 1848 and features a traditional flint stone facade had been renovated by the previous owners 'A lot of what the former owners had done was to my taste so I could move in straight away. ' Julian says. 'I knew I wanted to repaint the rooms but I wanted to spend some time in the before I decided on the colours. ' Julian's furnishings are also predominantly pale to keep the look calm and spacious while cushions and thrown bring subtle pattern and texture to the rooms. Julian's work as a photographer mean that framed photographs feature throughout his home.
